I am a BRC registerd breeder/exhibitor of lionheads based sandbach cheshire.
I breed various colours of rabbits to include chocolate, torte and the occasional other colour that pops up. All my rabbits are bred for type, temperment and health. I breed for one purpose only and that is to improve my own lines and the standard of the lionhead in general but i always put temperment and health before type.
All my lionheads have thick/dense double manes and are not bred with or from single/teddy lionheads.
I have been showing/breeding for 5yrs now starting of with netherland dwarfs and then I began to acquire lionheads in 2010. I have collected a small amount of rabbits from up and down the uk as foundation stock and have bred my lines from them, for which I am grateful to have had the pleasure of owning such beautiful rabbits.
I have a very small stud of rabbits i am still in the process of building new genetics into my own lines before i fill all avaliable cage space.
All my rabbits are super friendly and everyone always comments on their temperments as well as their type. I spend hours out in the shed grooming and careing for all my rabbits which enables me to keep a very close eye on their development and overall health to ensure my stock, should they ever fall ill, I am able to take immediate action to give my rabbits the best chance at making a full recovery.
Ever since i found my way into the rabbit fancy, they have became my pets, my hobby and my life is currently evolved around them.
I have found that rabbits make themselves as much of the family as a cat or dog would and they have many years of fun, mischivous laughter to give.
